You don't want to go there, not when your track record of commentary about women includes you calling your wife a trollop and a cunt in public.
Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama told an audience Tuesday that GOP presidential nominee John McCain says he'll change Washington, but he's just like President Bush.First of all, the comment about lipstick on a pig predates Sarah Palin's joke by a long, long way, so to claim that Obama was referring to Palin is a stretch worthy of those guys who hang cinder blocks from their junk.
"You can put lipstick on a pig," he said to an outbreak of laughter, shouts and raucous applause from his audience, clearly drawing a connection to Palin's joke. "It's still a pig. You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still going to stink after eight years."
But for John McCain to get offended at the statement is beyond laughable, considering his own history of saying crappy things about women, and voting against their interests time and again.
