From the AP by way of the Sun-Sentinel:

Hillary Clinton is sweeping through central Florida to campaign for formal rival Barack Obama.

The New York senator will be speaking about the economy Monday morning in Kissimmee. She'll then drop by a meeting of a major union -- International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers _ in Lake Buena Vista. Clinton wraps up the day with a rally in Tampa.

The Obama campaign is trying to gain ground in this swing state, which Republican candidate John McCain won during the primaries.
"Formal" rival? And what's with the seeming conflation of McCain's win in the Florida primary over his fellow Republicans with the Obama campaign's actions in the state? And most importantly--what's their excuse for this sloppiness? Was this such a hot story that this kind of sloppiness was excusable?
