Let me take you on a journey through time, back to 2004, when a little group named Moveon sponsored an ad contest*. One particularly inflammatory ad snuck through the screening process--it compared Bush to Hitler. You might have heard about it. To this day, some right-wingers still get the vapors over that ad, and give Moveon crap for it even though Moveon didn't have anything to do with the making of it, and pulled it from the contest (a contest it was losing badly, by the way) as soon as it came to their attention.

Fast forward to 2008, and what do we have here?

So, the recent news out of the Obama camp is that they're planning a huge rally with thousands of people in a stadium, want to create a mandatory youth corps for national service, and are thinking about a big dramatic speech in Berlin.
Mind you, the youth corps isn't mandatory, and that if John McCain could fill a stadium, he'd be giving speeches in them as well.

But Geraghty isn't done. Not satisfied with the hints, he comes right out and calls them "Obama Youth." Classy.

Comparing Bush to Hitler? Bad. Obama to Hitler? IOKIYAR.

*Side note: Amy wrote one of the finalists for that contest. You can see it here:
