Way back in April, on April Fool's Day as a matter of fact, I made the following prediction:
This year, we will finally be treated to the long awaited Alligator Alley World Series, which will swiftly eclipse the Subway Series of New York or the Battle at the Bay between San Francisco and Oakland as the most intriguing and hard fought World Series of all time. That's right. The Miami Marlins and the Tampa Rays will slug it out for baseball supremacy this year.It's only mid-May and we're only a quarter of the way through the season, but I would like to point out that both the Marlins and the Rays are in first place in their divisions. I don't expect this will last, so I'm getting my booty dance in right now.
