Your Supreme Court just said that separate isn't equal when it comes to marriage between consenting adults.

SAN FRANCISCO - The California Supreme Court has overturned a gay marriage ban in a ruling that would make the nation's largest state the second one to allow gay and lesbian weddings.

The justices' 4-3 decision Thursday says domestic partnerships are not a good enough substitute for marriage. Chief Justice Ron George wrote the opinion.

As for us, we Floridians have a different fight. We still have to beat back Amendment 2. Annette Taddeo is on board with the fight as part of Florida Red and Blue. If you're in that district, please consider giving her your support as she tries to unseat Ileana Ros-Lehtinen.
