Whoever came up with this ad is awesome, because it draws such a terrific contrast. If there's a more unpopular figure in the US than Dick Cheney, I don't know who it is, and he's unpopular in part because he's an unapologetic enemy of big government--unless he's benefiting from it (see no-bid contracts to Halliburton and KBR). Factor in that pretty much everyone knows that he's wealthy enough to pay his own way when it comes to health care (except that with his history, there are few insurance companies who would write him, no matter what premium they were going to charge) and yet he's--as he would put it--suckling at the taxpayer teat and you have a big fat example of Two Americas. There's Dick Cheney's America, and there's Nataline Sarkysian's America.
Go to Cheney Care and sign the petition for a true single payer universal health care plan for all Americans.
