Ever wonder what it's like

to fly into a hurricane? Me either. But people do it, and some of them take movies while doing so. This is footage from the hurricane hunters' trip into Hurricane Felix, while it had sustained winds of 165 mph. You don't really see much in the video short of the instrument panels shaking around from the turbulence and the white light from lightning flashes coming in through the windows--it's eerie, to say the least--but the end of the video has stills looking up from the eye to see the sky above. It's simultaneously terrifying and beautiful.
