Because I know you're concerned about this, too

So I'm just sitting here, watching The Simpsons and a hurricane-preparedness ad comes on. It included a great deal of information about preparing your pool area.

So you're not supposed to empty your pool when a hurricane approaches. Apparently because the water tables can rise during a hurricane, an empty pool might experience structural damage.

Including popping out of the ground.

I thought you should know.
